Welcome to Cavett Elementary
Heritage Night
Heritage Night is Thursday, February 28th from 5:30
to 7:30. The evening will include ethnic food sampling,
performances by Kokyo Taiko (Japanese Drumming),
Kusi Taki (Andean music), Chris Sayre (folk and
traditional musician), family displays, students' art work
and performances (folk dances by third grade music
students). Please join us in a celebration of diversity!

Geologist Rebekah Shepard visited Cavett December 22, 2005. She talked with the third, fourth, and fifth graders about her upcoming field work. Rebekah is part of a team studying fossil formation. Rebekah will host a blog site where we will be able to follow her studies, ask questions, and see photos of her exciting study
