Mark your Calendar for the 4th Annual Cavett
Heritage Night on April 3, 2009. We will gather to
learn from each other about the cultures of our
families and the cultures of other Lincoln/Nebraska
residents. This year's event will feature Polka music,
Native American dancers, student dancers, food,
displays, student art work and more! The Heritage
Night is 5:30-7:30. Come for a while or the entire
evening. Contact Lynne Faulkner for more information
on how you can get involved. We’ll look forward to
seeing you there!

Russian Kaleidoscope Presentation
As part of the Heritage celebration, Cavett students in
grades 1-5 will have the opportunity to learning about
Russian culture through assemblies presented on
April 2nd by the Cultural Kaleidoscope Group from
Kansas City. We’re looking forward to a day of
learning and thank Mrs. Faulkner for arranging this
experience for us.

those unruly laces from causing problems! Stop by
the security desk to check out Y-Ties. Proceeds are
